Stop. Just…just stop. You’ve failed spectacularly at the human body so badly for the past 20 years that now I just think you’re actively trying to fuck everything up. I thought I’d submit this for skeletons. I made this about a year ago at 17, and anatomy was not on my mind. I was mainly thinking about “ohhh two hot girls boxing mmm lesbians” so I kind of rushed it. I thought it was really awesome until it dawned on me that no person with a perfect human skeleton could pose like that. If you want a version without any of the harsh lighting, I can provide that for you if you want.

Hey, as much as I like this blog, it kinda feels like some sort of passive aggressive artistic elitist narcissism something. I get that it's funny but it's kinda not cool, so instead of just making redlines and laughing at them, how about we have people add in some constructive criticism/advice too? To the anon who was complaining incoherently: I love drawing musculature, and here's my issue with you: muscles are supposed to attach to skeletons a certain way. If you have no idea what your skeleton is meant to look like, you won't be able to place your muscles right. If you have no idea how to place your bones/muscles, your attempt at stylization is going to look bizarre. That's really all there is to it.

as much as i enjoy this blog, some post are very exaggerated and anatomy is not just skeletons, muscle plays a huge part in the body, some of the post are ignoring it and exaggerating the skeletons making the bad anatomy look worse, also stylization goes beyond anatomy, and i hate how some people FORCE AND YELL a some artist like anatomy is some kind of checkpoint in a list to be accepted as an "good" artist

Actually yes, anatomy SHOULD be a checkpoint in a list because it’s gonna suck major musty ass if you don’t. You’re a crappy artist if you ignore or don’t bother to learn anatomy or really, any of the basics of art. This blog tries to make sense of broken skellies. Sometimes they’re exaggerated (I try not to, mind you) but that’s usually because they’re already exaggerated (and poorly), through no effort on my part.
